Meet at Heathrow for your direct flight with El Al to Tel Aviv. On arrival, transfer to the Caesar Hotel Jerusalem, your base for the week. Evening at leisure to relax and prepare for the days ahead.
This morning we explore the Old City of Jerusalem with its ancient streets, religious landmarks, and layers of history. Highlights include the Western Wall, Church of the Holy Sepulchre, and the vibrant bazaars. In the afternoon we visit the Israel Museum, home to the Dead Sea Scrolls and one of the world’s leading collections of archaeology and art. Later, at 5:30pm, we head to Cinema City Expo (a short walk from the hotel) to collect your bib number and race pack.
The big day! Take part in the Jerusalem Marathon, Half Marathon or 10K, with staggered start times from 6:45am onwards. Run through the streets of one of the world’s most iconic cities, cheered on by crowds and surrounded by breathtaking views. The rest of the day is yours to celebrate, recover, and soak up the post-race atmosphere.
A full-day excursion to some of Israel’s most extraordinary natural and historic sites. Visit the desert fortress of Masada, explore the ancient settlement of Qumran, and then enjoy the unique experience of floating in the Dead Sea.
Travel to Qasr al-Yahud, the traditional baptismal site on the River Jordan. Continue north through the Jordan Valley to Mount Tabor, where we visit the Church of the Transfiguration, set high on the hill with spectacular views.
Explore the Mediterranean coast, beginning with Acre, a Crusader port city with atmospheric streets and underground halls. Continue to Haifa, with its stunning Baha’i Gardens, and then on to the Roman ruins of Caesarea, once a great seaport built by Herod the Great. Return to Jerusalem for a final evening together.
